Final post
Starting the beginning year of art I wasn't sure what to expect. But I ended up enjoying it a lot. My favorite project was the bike drawing. Even though it started off to be hard and annoying to shade it ended up being my favorite. The most challenging project for me was the candy jar sketch. The sketching part of the project was easy but then the coloring and shadows through me off. I would've never thought my projects would come out as well as they did. I've had a lot of fun in this class and have improved a lot.

Box
In my box I don't have a lot of items. I have a few pictures and some random objects I collected from some of my closer friends. The pictures mean a lot to me because they're taken with my family and friends. When I get my box 20 years from now I can look back and see who I was close with. I also wrote my twitter and instagram log in information so when I open the box I could log in to the accounts. My box reflects on my personality a lot. I'm a random person so that explains why I have so many random objects in my box.

Every day I wake up, go down the stairs to eat breakfast. I usually eat an apple, some cereal and drink some orange juice. then I go back upstairs to my room and pack my school bag. After that's done, I get ready for school. When I'm all done and ready to go, I tell my dad that I'm leaving. My friend gives me a ride most days. Sometimes I walk to school. I usually go through the woods because it's the fastest way. I sit through my classes and then eat lunch. After school I over I get ready for track practice. I put on my shoes and I'm off. After practice is over I come home and do my homework. When 5:30 rolls around I eat dinner. After dinner, if I still have more homework to do, and I usually do, I'll finish that. If not, I'll watch some TV and then go to bed.

Art x3
I liked doing the collage with other people a lot because the finished product came out so nice. Passing around the collages made other people think more and contribute what they thought was celebrity like. If we just made our own collages I would have a lot of trouble. The first collage swap was obviously the hardest because it was a collage that had nothing to do with celebrities. The second time I don't even remember what I had. I learned that working together isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Starting this collage I was a little worried about passing it around but turned out well.
Pop art
This was a tough assignment; I thought it was hard to find something I wanted to draw and make into a stamp. So I picked something random and it was a nail polish bottle. I wasn't really inspired with this because I didn't like what I was drawing and it didn't come out like I wanted it. Also in 7th or 8th grade we did this project and I had trouble with it then. When I was done my stamp and started printing it I though I did a terrible job with it and I wasn't happy with myself. It was so ugly printing it multiple times.
Fortune Cookie
Starting the fortune cookie book page was the hardest. My fortune was something about heaven and the future. So I just painted what I saw in my head, future always comes to me as outer space or a galaxy and heaven is always bright pastel colors with clouds. The purple and blue side represents the future and the white lines are creeping up the paper, representing technology taking over. But the orange and yellow side represents heaven and how simple I think it is.

Collecting vs. Hoarding
There is a HUGE difference between collecting and hoarding. When you collect something everything has to be similar, it all has to be the same and it isn't just thrown everywhere around your house, it is neat and organized. When you hoard most people don't know they do it, and its just pointless things everywhere around your house stacked on top of each other. Hoarding is just a word used to descried people who are lazy and don't want to let go any of their stuff. Collecting is a hobby that some people take very seriously and are very organized about it.
